Gumotex tests new prototype of the self-bailing canoe
The latest prototype of a new canoe was tested. Representing GUMOTEX, a.s., Zdeněk Rybnikář and Martin Straka, along with help from: Vojta Jančar (HG Sport), Michal Kočan (tour guide from CK Adventura) and Martin Šeba (Boatpark).
The goal of the test was to evaluate how well the boat handles, how user-friendly its functions are, how easy it is to put together, the boat's economic design, equipment, overall design and especially the characteristics of its ride.
The new boat has the following characteristics:
length 410cm, width 104cm, internal width 43,5cm, diameter of side cylinders 30,5cm, weight 23kg. A new design was used for the boat bottom – the so-called keel profile reinforces the bottom and improves the overall hydrodynamics of the boat, which is manifested in the increased speed of the canoe.
