Gumotex has achieved positive economic results in the first quarter of the current year. In the indicated period, the company's return on its own products and services was 638 million Czech crowns, corresponding to an increase of almost 23 million crowds from the same period last year. As a result, profit was 42 million Czech crowns, corresponding to twice that of the same period last year. Especially contributing to the positive results was a high level of exports of inflatable mattresses to the USA and the manufacture of polyurethane mattresses. Gumotex achieved the indicated results with 80 fewer employees. In the course of the first quarter, the company employed 1681 employees on average.
