The aim of the project was to provide adequate equipment for the development of new manufacturing processes and materials that would allow the production without the use of solvents based on gasoline, toluene or acetone for products for the rubber and plastics industry.
GUMOTEX Coating, s.r.o. implements a project called "Enterprise Education in GUMOTEX coating – OPZ 97", reg. No.: CZ.03.1.52/0.0/0.0/19_097/0013696, which started in November 2019 and is planned to be implemented until October 2021. This project is financed with the support of the European Union by the European Social Fund under the Operational Programme Employment under the auspices of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.

No.: CZ.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/15_018/0001629, which started in August 2015 and is planned for implementation by December 2017. This project is financed with the support of the European Union from the Regional Development Fund under the Operational Programme for Enterprise and Innovation for Competitiveness under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The project aims at developing a completely new concept of a modern sun visor for passenger cars, which will reflect the current demand for components in automotive industry market. Thanks to the development of this new concept, Gumotex, a joint stock company, will significantly strengthen its competitiveness in the automotive component market. The output of the project will be several prototypes of new sun visors with completely new functionalities.
The subject of the project was the extension of the research and development centerat the plant's own premises in Břeclav. New laboratory technologies for the preparation of rubber mixtures and semi-finished products, i.e. a new laboratory torch, laboratory press and laboratory roller, have been placed in these existing premises. The newly equipped laboratory is part of a new development center, which the company is gradually building.
The total cost of the “Extension of the OZ3 research and development center” project was CZK 12,300,658, of which CZK 5,265,000 was covered by the European Regional Development Fund through the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation. The project was implemented during 2014 and 2015.
The project was to introduce an upgraded inflatable core of smart air mattresses.into production and on the market. This is the result of our own R&D in cooperation with partners. The project also included the introduction of an upgraded production process.
The production of this innovative product is based on a new and unique solution, consisting in the new construction of the mattress core and the use of a new technology without the foundation coating of the input material. Thanks to this, products with exceptional quality, durability and other specific properties are created.
With the new production process, it is possible to produce upgraded inflatable cores of smart air mattresses. The aim of the innovation of the production process is to achieve the required parameters and properties of new products. The main goal is the acquisition of a new coating line, which will allow the production of input material in the necessary high quality.
This production process is brand new to the world. Thanks to it, it is possible to achieve significantly better technical production parameters.
The total cost of the “Innovation of the company’s key products” project was CZK 128,024,608, of which CZK 49,680,000 was covered by the European Regional Development Fund through the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation. The project was implemented between 2013 and 2015.
The main aim of the project, which took place from May 2013 to April 2015, was to introduce systematic training of employees in order to increase their adaptability, labour productivity and competitiveness of the company. The project was financed by the EFS through the Operational Programme Human Resources and Employment and from the State Budget of the Czech Republic. The contribution amounted to CZK 3,893,841.
The total cost of the “Reduction of energy losses of building No. 14” project, which included the insulation of perimeter structures, replacement of hole fillings and installation of a system for the use of waste heat from production, was CZK 13,050,000, of which CZK 5,220,000 was paid from the European Regional Development Fund through the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation. The project was implemented in 2011.
A total of CZK 14,969,000 was invested in a project implemented in 2010 aimed at reducing the energy losses of building No. 13, which included the insulation of perimeter structures, replacement of hole fillings and reconstruction of air conditioning. Of these, CZK 5,987,000 was financed through the European Regional Development Fund.
The project was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund through the Operational Programme Infrastructure (CZK 4,387,000) and the State Environmental Fund of the Czech Republic (CZK 1,253,000). The total cost of the project was CZK 48,566,480.
