František was named Chief Executive Officer of the GUMOTEX Group in May 2019. He was previously involved with PEGAS NONWOVENS, a leading European manufacturer of nonwoven textiles, where he held various positions since 1996, from Legal Counsel, Director of Human Resources, Director of Business Development to the position of Chief Executive Officer, which he held between 2008 and 2018. František has extensive experience in managing a publicly-traded company, building production plants in the Czech Republic and abroad (Egypt and South Africa), developing and installing state-of-the-art technologies, implementing refinancing projects using various forms of financing, and building corporate culture with a strong focus on operational excellence, quality assurance and R&D.
Miroslav began his career in GUMOTEX in 1993 as an engineer, then as a logistics specialist and sales representative. In 2000-2017, Miroslav was employed outside the GUMOTEX Group. He founded the DURA Automotive plant in Slovakia, which produces parts for the automotive sector. Afterwards, he managed metal parts pressing and welding operations at TOWER in Slovakia and Germany. He then served as Chief Executive Officer at RETEX a.s., a company producing nonwoven textiles. Since his return to GUMOTEX in 2017, he serves as the Director of the Automotive Division.
František has dedicated his entire professional career to the GUMOTEX Group. He started as a regulation and control systems service technician and electronics engineer. He also placed great focus on the energy sector. In 2006, he was promoted to Technical Director. Since 2017, František has been heading the Coating Division. Given his knowledge and experience, František advises on significant Group projects and is responsible for energy matters concerning the entire GUMOTEX Group.
Jan joined the GUMOTEX Group in 2020. He began his professional career as an auditor in one of the Big Four accounting firms. Subsequently, he began focusing on business valuations and analyses as well as M&A transactions. As part of his work in international companies, he spent a part of his career abroad and has experience in complex financial transactions. In 2015-2020, he worked as the Senior Financial Controller of the PEGAS NONWOVENS Group, where his responsibilities included among others investor relations and the construction project of a new production plant in South Africa.
