The Břeclavánek Folk Ensemble

All of the ensemble’s members – both leaders and small children – are aware of all the things this cooperative relationship brings, and we greatly value the fact that we have such a large company in Břeclav that has been open to Břeclavánek and supports it. The Slovácký Rowing Club in Břeclav
“We are very grateful that, following the City of Břeclav, GUMOTEX is the most significant partner and sponsor of the Slovácký Rowing Club in Břeclav. The support helps us cover operating costs, the purchase of jerseys, and more expensive sports equipment. Our jerseys and boats carry the GUMOTEX logo. Our former racer and GUMOTEX employee, rower Václav Pavkovič from Břeclav, won a bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 together with his rowing partner, Jan Švéda. They are the only athletes from Břeclav to win a medal for their hometown.”
Dragon Boats
“We are grateful for the significant long-term partnership in organizing dragon boat races, which have become popular and have influenced the Slovácký Rowing Club. Although the dragon boat racers don’t lean into the oars like we’re used in the club, but rather push the water out with a paddle and the power of their arms, the dragon team spirit awoke in a group of people in our ranks. It has gone so far that every year, on a Saturday in June, the Dyje River becomes the scene of a battle of dragons called the Břeclav Dragon, and where the GUMOTEX Cup is a traditional prize.”
TJ Lokomotiva Břeclav Volleyball Team
“Thank you to GUMOTEX, a long-term partner of the TJ Lokomotiva Břeclav Volleyball Club project titled ‘Volleyball partner Břeclav’, for more than ten years of continued support. The project is focused on supporting boys’ and girls’ volleyball teams in the Břeclav area. We try to build on Břeclav’s rich volleyball history with the aim of having a top volleyball club with excellent conditions and an outstanding concept for educating talented youth. The partnership with GUMOTEX helps the volleyball club make sport more accessible to those interested, especially youth.”

Visitors can take on the role of a blind person, find out what it means to be blind, and see that it makes sense to help organizations like ours.”
